Our work is impossible to pigeon-hole and we like it that way. We don't specialise in ads, sales promotions, field marketing or PR. We simply do whatever it takes, finding modern solutions to traditional problems.

Without an idea, there is nothing. Our mission is to create relevant ideas that engage and inspire. Once we have the idea, we consider the best way(s) to present it. All marketers are under intense pressure. At Cunning we believe the work we do that is most valuable to our clients derives from open, confident relationships. There should be no fear in addressing the consumer. Nor in our business relationships with our clients.
Tight briefs are best.
Experience has shown us the strongest creative solution is derived from a clear, single-minded proposition. Sometimes this proposition is handed to us and sometimes it needs to be developed. Either way, we are single-minded, rigorously examining each and every brief.
Respect is due.
Respect between client and agency is paramount. Cunning embraces collaborative working. We are open and ready to learn from our customers, suppliers and other contacts. We work best with open-minded clients who recognize the value of what we do and are prepared to contribute to how we do it.
How we charge.
All clients are different and all projects are different. As a result we've had to make our remuneration model flexible, transparent and tailored to the job in hand.
What we do expect is an upfront discussion which allows us to ensure that all our financial relationships are open and honest from the outset.
Ideas are what we make and we expect to be paid for both their conception and activation.
And where appropriate be rewarded for their success.
Since 2004 Cunning has supported a renewable energy programme in Sri Lanka through the Carbon Neutral Company. We're also doing our bit to reduce our carbon emissions.
